Using virtual reality, festival-goers were able to take part in a journey back in time to understand the changes that have shaped the Brest roadstead as we know it today. Visitors could choose between 4 different periods:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>20000 BC<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>-8000 BC<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>-2000 BC<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>+5000 AD today<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Developed as part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/isblue.fr\/se-former-avec-isblue\/immersea-lab\/\">ImmerSea Lab project<\/a>, this mediation system was upgraded at the <a href=\"https:\/\/isblue.fr\/actualites\/formation\/pim-interdev-juin-2024-utiliser-ses-competences-relationnelles-pour-repondre-aux-problematiques-du-developpement-durable\/\">June 2024 InterDev PIM<\/a> thanks to the collaboration of students from the UBO, UBS, Ensta Bretagne and IMT-Atlantique. Some of them were present throughout the F\u00eates Maritimes to welcome the public and guide participants through the virtual environment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Monday 15 July, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/mike-horn-21389740\/\">Mike Horn<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/marine-barnerias-23510686\/\">Marine Barnerias<\/a>, the sponsors of the \u2018Protection of the Oceans\u2019 Village, visited the ImmerSEA RADE stand and talked to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/nina-gien-5506a8175\/\">Nina Gien<\/a>, a geosciences student at the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/iuem\/\"> Institut Universitaire Europ\u00e9en de la Mer (IUEM) <\/a>at the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/ubo\/\"> Universit\u00e9 de
