Supervised by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/profile\/David-Graindorge\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">David Graindorge<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/profile\/Julien-Collot\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Julien Collot<\/a> (GeoOcean\/UBO), they discovered the organisation, challenges, and future perspectives of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flotteoceanographique.fr\/\">Flotte Oc\u00e9anographique Fran\u00e7aise (FOF)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The FOF includes deep-sea and coastal vessels, underwater vehicles, and mobile equipment that allow exploration of the world\u2019s oceans. This five-day workshop aimed to introduce students to the multiple stages involved in planning a scientific campaign, while highlighting the environmental, technical, and societal issues associated with these missions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the week, participants from various ISblue disciplines (Engineering, Chemistry, Geosciences, Management, Physics, Law, Biotechnology, etc.) assumed the role of young researchers preparing an oceanographic campaign. programme for Continental Shelf Extension (FIDJIPLAC)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A campaign project related to <strong>multidisciplinary exploration of oceanic accretion ridges
