In partnership with the Holi-D Blue* project, 12 students from ENSTA enrolled in the \u201cCivic Engagement and Professional Development\u201d course, together with 8 lecturers, engineers and academic staff from ENSTA and Universit\u00e9 de Bretagne Occidentale, took part in the Ocean Climate Fresk on 6 February 2024.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Inspired by the Climate Fresk, the Ocean Climate Fresk<\/a> focuses on ocean-related challenges in order to better understand them through a fun and collaborative approach. Working in small groups, students and staff discussed the benefits provided by the ocean, marine biodiversity, fishing, climate change, pollution and marine industries, as well as the ways in which all these issues are interconnected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants then explored the levers for action and the socio-environmental challenges linked to the following areas: fishing, pollution, marine industries and climate. The students will continue working on these topics throughout the semester as part of their academic programmes. Building on this systemic approach, the programme will encourage students to address these issues from an interdisciplinary perspective (engineering sciences, marine and coastal sciences, law, economics, etc.) through collaboration with students from the PIM Interdev programme<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This enriching experience helps broaden the discussions and reflections faced by students and staff both within academia and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
