{"id":7132,"date":"2022-05-21T16:19:54","date_gmt":"2022-05-21T14:19:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.isblue.fr\/?p=7132"},"modified":"2024-02-27T11:38:24","modified_gmt":"2024-02-27T10:38:24","slug":"holi-d-blue-agir-face-aux-enjeux-environnementaux-et-societaux-maritimes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/isblue.fr\/en\/news\/holi-d-blue-agir-face-aux-enjeux-environnementaux-et-societaux-maritimes\/","title":{"rendered":"HOLI-D BLUE: taking action in response to environmental and societal maritime challenges"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Supported by Isblue and carried out by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ensta-bretagne.fr\/fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ENSTA Bretagne<\/a>, HOLI-D Blue HOLI-D Blue is a &#8220;holistic training system for engineers to understand and act on maritime environmental and societal issues&#8221;. Launched six months ago, this cross-disciplinary educational project involves many contributors. A first test will be implemented at the beginning of the academic year 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The purpose of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ensta-bretagne.fr\/fr\/projet-holi-d-blue\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HOLI-D Blue projet<\/a> is to co-construct a &#8220;Maritime and sustainable development&#8221; cross-disciplinary pathway with the objective of transmitting reflective tools and technical skills (intellectual tools and know-how) enabling students to take hold of these environmental and societal issues of the maritime world, to build their understanding of these issues and then to act by being more aware of the impacts of their activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since October 2021, three workshops and numerous interviews have been conducted with the ambition to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Identify which courses in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ensta-bretagne.fr\/fr\/la-formation-dingenieur-generaliste-ensta-bretagne\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ENSTA Bretagne general engineering curriculum<\/a> already integrate these environmental and societal issues<\/li><li>Define which skills are missing and need to be developed<\/li><li>Determine what is expected from the point of view of academic development and the professional project<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Beginning in September 2022, a test system will be set up to add additional elements to the training program related to sustainable development and to enhance the skills acquired in this field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The whole system and the approach including the assessment of the actions carried out will then be shared with the Isblue community with the ambition to make <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ensta-bretagne.fr\/fr\/projet-holi-d-blue\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HOLI-D Blue<\/a> flourish in other maritime training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n  <p class=\"wrap_zip_block-btn\">\n     <a class=\"zip_block-btn btn1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ensta-bretagne.fr\/fr\/holi-d-blue-agir-face-aux-enjeux-environnementaux-et-societaux-maritimes\" target=\"\">More details about HOLI-D BLUE<\/a>\n  <\/p>\n  ","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":18199,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[2,54],"tags":[],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.9 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>HOLI-D BLUE: taking action in response to environmental and societal maritime challenges - Ecole Universitaire de Recherche en sciences &amp;
