In January 2024, as part of a joint interdisciplinary project (PIM), a group of Masters students from UBO, UBS and ENSTA Bretagne explored one of the controversial issues in the polar regions: tourism in Antarctica.
The students met various researchers and professionals from the sector, as well as carrying out bibliographical research and a theatrical workshop. They then devised and performed an international conference to present the results of their critical analysis of the different views on tourism among Polar Regions stakeholders.
Here is the video of the round table on Tourism in the Polar Regions, with the participation of Marie-Noëlle Rimaud, professor and researcher in law, and polar guides Alain Bidart, Lucien Chaillot and Eric Bayard.
