Marine and coastal sciences are taught through experimentation. This teaching approach is used in both the human sciences (law, economics and geography) and the natural sciences (chemistry and biology).
ISblue supports and encourages ‘outdoor’ training through a number of initiatives, including meetings with stakeholders in the fisheries sector (Master 2 Economy), visits to the European institutions in Brussels (Master Law), geological fieldwork in Oman or the south of England (Master STPE) or a week of exchanges between students and local stakeholders (Master EGEL).
