Supported by Isblue and carried out by ENSTA Bretagne, HOLI-D Blue HOLI-D Blue is a “holistic training system for engineers to understand and act on maritime environmental and societal issues”. Launched six months ago, this cross-disciplinary educational project involves many contributors. A first test will be implemented at the beginning of the academic year 2022.
The purpose of the HOLI-D Blue projet is to co-construct a “Maritime and sustainable development” cross-disciplinary pathway with the objective of transmitting reflective tools and technical skills (intellectual tools and know-how) enabling students to take hold of these environmental and societal issues of the maritime world, to build their understanding of these issues and then to act by being more aware of the impacts of their activities.

Beginning in September 2022, a test system will be set up to add additional elements to the training program related to sustainable development and to enhance the skills acquired in this field.
The whole system and the approach including the assessment of the actions carried out will then be shared with the Isblue community with the ambition to make HOLI-D Blue flourish in other maritime training.
