The ISblue research themes have an animation budget and can support projects for internships.
In this context, the ISblue research theme 5 is renewing the specific call for projects for internship grants from 17 June 2025 to 30 October 2025.
This call is open to all members of the ISblue community (permanent staff of ISblue research units, or staff of ISblue research units in post for the duration of the internship).
– Applications must relate to the ISblue research theme 5 (see scientific description of the themes).
– One applicant = 1 theme and 1 application! An applicant may not submit the same application in several themes, nor submit different applications in one or more themes.
– Funded internships must take place in an ISblue research unit, under the responsibility of a researcher from that unit.
Grants will be awarded in particular to projects contributing to the establishment/initiation/strengthening of :
– International collaboration
– Interdisciplinary collaboration
– ISblue inter-unit collaboration
– Low-cost development
– Development of research questions in line with the objectives of the themes.
An operating budget may be requested to supplement the internship bonus (train tickets, analyses, consumables, etc.). All orders must go through ISblue on quotation: ISblue must place orders directly.
Equipment purchases are not authorised (no computers, desks, etc.), nor are mission orders to trainees, and no reimbursements are possible.
This additional request (amount and destination of expenditure) will be assessed by the theme coordinators.
Applications open: Tuesday 17 June 2025, 15:00 (French time)
Application deadline: Thursday 30 October 2025, 23:59 (French time)
Applications
will be assessed by the theme steering committees before the end of the
year, and applicants will be notified of the funding decision as and
when the theme steering committees have reached a decision.
