Behind the Scenes of Scientific Publishing: What to Consider When Choosing a Journal

The ISblue community includes a number of researchers who are editors of scientific journals. Testimonials from two or three colleagues will be given at each meeting. Come and discuss a specific topic over coffee in a friendly atmosphere.

These informal events are intended for researchers, postdoctoral fellows and doctoral students who wish to learn more about scientific publishing. The meetings may be held in French or English, depending on the speakers and participants. No registration is required. Simply come to the meeting place on the appointed day.

Thursday 26th March from 1pm to 2pm (amphi B, IUEM):

This second edition of the cycle Behind the Scenes of Scientific Publishing will be presented by the editors Fabrice Pernet (LEMAR, Ifremer) and Linwood Pendleton (AMURE, UBO) for ICES Journal of Marine Science and Olivier Thébaud (AMURE, Ifremer) for Aquatic Living Resources.
