“As part of my Master’s degree in marine biotechnology at the European Institute for Marine Studies (IUEM) of Plouzané, I had the opportunity to complete a 6-month internship at the Laboratoire Universitaire de Biodiversité et d’Ecologie Marine (LUBEM) on the study of Vanadium Haloperoxidases from different marine fungi.

These enzymes allow the halogenation of various molecules and could be of great use for the pharmaceutical sector in order to improve the activity of certain drugs/antibiotics.

The gratification granted by ISblue has therefore allowed me to carry out my internship in this laboratory and to benefit from this experience which has taught me a lot both in terms of knowledge and on a personal level.”
