From 2018 to 2020, Pierre attended the master’s degree in Applied Economics: Agriculture, Sea and Environment at the European Institute for Marine Studies (IUEM). During this course, he became passionate about the marine environment and its consideration in public policies.
“I put this into practice by working on the interactions between marine habitats and maritime uses in the Gulf of Morbihan during my end-of-study internship. This interdisciplinary work enabled the design of models to facilitate the appropriation of conservation issues by local stakeholders.
As a result of this experience, I chose to direct my professional project towards public action. I now work at the Ministry of Ecological Transition.
My missions focus on the reduction of anthropic pressures on the marine environment. I can thus implement the knowledge acquired during my training.”
